Booklets
As part of the Pebble Partnership's continuing commitment to encourage education and workforce development it has created the "Mining Careers" (1.2MB pdf) booklet . The job descriptions within the booklet give an indication of the types of jobs that will be available when the Pebble Project is developed into an operating mine.
The "Introduction to Mining" (2.9MB pdf) booklet has been developed by the Pebble Partnership to explain mining and the mineral extraction processes. It describes typical environmental and social risks and presents an outline of the potential rewards. This information is provided so that local stakeholders can make informed decisions in the public process for mine permitting.
The International Copper Study Group compiled the 2007 World Copper Factbook (1MB pdf), containing valuable information about the growing importance of copper and its many uses in today’s society.

Metal Mining and the Environment (1.4MB pdf), is part of the American Geological Institute's Environmental Awareness Series 3, in cooperation with the Society of Geologists, Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration Inc., and the U.S. Department of the Interior U.S. Geological Survey.
The U.S. Department of the Interior and U.S. Geological Survey compiled the Mineral Commodity Summaries 2006 booklet (2.4MB pdf).
