- Planning, directing and carrying out the effective design, implementation and operation of IT processing systems.
- Liaise with users and management to identify current and future IT needs to meet business requirements.
- Responsible for setup and maintenance of servers, workstations, routers and all communication systems, including virus management and backup and recovery of data.
- Trouble shoot, investigate new technologies, develop LAN and WAN network designs and make recommendations on improvements.
- Document system configurations and IT processes and procedures.
- Participate in on-call, afterhours support.
The successful applicant will have:
- The successful applicant will have: A Degree in Computer Science (MCSE certification is an added asset) with 3-5 years experience.
- Strong technical hands-on skills.
- A customer service focus and strong communication skills.
- High motivation while being both personable and professional.
- The Senior Administrative Assistant performs all administrative support tasks associated with the Project. The Assistant will work closely with executive and project managers, engineers, consultants and others to meet the needs of the Project.
- Administrative support will include: arranging complex schedules, coordinating meetings, travel bookings, taking and distributing minutes of meetings, filing, photocopying, collating and general documentation distribution.
- Prepare written project communications and deliverables such as large technical documentation and other correspondence, establish and maintain filing system for technical documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior Administrative position, ideally within a professional and technical working environment.
- Strong communication, proven organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint with exposure to typing, editing and formatting large technical documents.
- A general knowledge of other specialized computer software programs and databases.
- Speak with and listen to community members about their views and concerns regarding the Pebble Project.
- Communicate information to and from the Kenai Peninsula communities and the Pebble Partnership.
- Advocate for a fair and open environmental review process while serving as a conduit of information into and out of the Kenai Peninsula.
- The successful applicant will have:
- A minimum of 4 years experience in a community relations position or equivalent education in an associated area.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively (including public speaking), with excellent active listening skills.
- Excellent judgment, tact, complete discretion, and ability to work under stress and cope with changing priorities while being detail-oriented.
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, geologists, consultants and others to meet the varying needs of the project.
- Planning, directing and coordinating administrative functions, particularly accounts and site reporting functions in accordance with company guidelines and standards.
- Working with and maintaining a variety of IT systems and technologies that support staff in day-to-day operations.
- Setup and maintenance of site servers, workstations, routers and all communication systems.
- Extensive account experience in invoice processing, purchase orders, budgeting and reporting.
- Excellent database skills with emphasis on Microsoft Access.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and proven experience developing spreadsheets and reports.
- Strong computer skills for setup, problem solving and repairs including experience with project server maintenance, specifically Windows 2003.
- Prior work experience or knowledge of mining exploration or the construction industry would be an asset.
This position will work a rotation schedule on a fly in/fly out basis to the Iliamna site.

- The successful applicant will have:
- A scientific or technical background; knowledge of the mining industry would be advantageous.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional writing, editing and organizational skills.
- Ability to critically analyze environmental and social science documents to ensure consistency and logic.
- Proven experience managing the compilation and production of large and complex documents.
