The Pebble Environmental Baseline Document (EBD), representing one of the most extensive environmental studies program ever conducted for a natural resource project in Alaska, is available for public review at www.pebbleresearch.com.
The Pebble Limited Partnership will host an online web broadcast of the 2012 Baseline Environmental Team Agency Meeting presentations, highlighting the Pebble Environmental Baseline Document. Members of the public are invited to watch and listen to the presentations live online. Presentations will be made January 31 through February 3, 2012.
The state of Alaska has filed a lawsuit defending its permitting process related to responsible resource development and the recent Lake & Peninsula Borough SOS Initiative. The Pebble Partnership welcomes today’s action, recognizing the state’s significant interest in managing the development of its natural resources for the maximum benefit of all Alaskans as directed by the constitution.
